Osteopathy is a type of alternative medicine, founded by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still MD, DO.in 1874. He was a physician and surgeon.

It emphasizes not only physical manipulation of muscle tissue and bones but also the therapeutic powers of the Dynamic Stillness, the Breath of Life, the tidal potency, fluids and other Natural Laws at work supporting and generating life.

In United States, Osteopaths have full medical license and can practice medicine, but in Britain, Australia and New Zealand, osteopathic practitioners are registered and regulated by law as therapists but may not practice medicine. 

Conditions that osteopathy treat in general practice include :

 Back pain, neck stiffness, migraine, tension type headache, jaw problems, otitis media, sinusitis, tinnitus, knee pain, hip problem, ankle sprain, muscle strain, arthritis, sciatica, thoracic outlet syndrome, sports injuries, gastro-esophageal reflux, irritable bowl syndrome, depression, acute onset of dementia (within 2 weeks) and so on.

Conditions that osteopaths treat in children and teenagers include:

Back pain, headaches, growing pains in muscles, bones and joints, postural problems including curvature of the spine, period pain, walking difficulties or foot pain, sporting injuries, the physical effects of cerebral palsy, ADHD, autism, failure of development and so on.

Conditions that osteopaths treat in pregnant women include:

Back pain, morning sickness, breach baby, ensure the birth canal, postpartum depression

Mr Hagiwara is a graduate of the RMIT University (Melbourne, Australia) in 2004 and completed Master program in 2007. He travels the world teaching and studying with some of the very best in the world

He is well versed in all aspects of both direct and indirect technique, but he has been actively training in hands-on Traditional Osteopathy under the mentorship of Dr.James Jealous DO and  Veronique Everarts since 2013 and has completed all 9 levels of Biodynamic View of Osteopathy in the Cranial Field  as well as post graduate courses in Pediatrics course with Dr.James Jealous DO. He also completed 3 years program Bavarian Pediatric School & Clinic for Traditional Osteopathy in Germany.

He is attending  and  Free Osteopathic Children’s Clinic in conjunction with the Dominica School and Orphanage in La Urena Dominican Republic.
